Several groups, artists, and performers are set to kick off the first day of Kwanzaa with a market, dinner, and fundraiser concert.

West Michigan Jewels of Africa (WMJOA) is hosting the event on Thursday, December 26, according to an online listing.

Accompanied by a dinner full of soul food, the Holiday Kwanzaa Market opens up at 5 p.m. with vendors selling all kinds of authentic African art.

Jewels of Africa, Kuungana African Drum and Dance Company, and the ADDPA take over at 7 p.m. with a fundraiser concert.

A $10 donation is suggested but not required to attend.
