WAYLAND, Mich. – Two Allegan County Sheriff K9s are retiring this year and Gun Lake Casino is helping the department replace one of them.
The casino donated $15,000 to the department Wednesday to fund the purchase of one dog.
The department uses K9 teams in search and rescue operations and in identifying illegal substances.
