ALLEGAN, Mich. – A handful of employees at Perrigo in Allegan County are receiving layoff notices Wednesday.
The company says fewer than 50 non-production jobs in West Michigan are being affected.
The drug maker announced a restructuring in February and the layoffs are part of the plan. Some employees have been offered early retirement and others have been asked to shift into other open positions.
