WEST MICHIGAN- Slowly but surely, many are waking up in West Michigan and measuring snowfall totals to share with the rest of us. There were several closings this morning, but not an abundance of them. This has been due to the highly scattered bands of lake effect snow we’ve received.
You can see the “bullseye” so far has been in Allegan County. I’ve included East Grand Rapids at the bottom just to show the wide range of totals that have been received, with areas further away from the lake getting almost no snow at all.
Your full video forecast will explain that the rest of today will still expect snow to accumulate, but taper off as we go toward the evening.
If you want to skip the video, here's the synopsis: more snow this weekend. Snow arrives overnight Saturday and hangs around into early Monday. We'll continue to update you on snowfall totals and road conditions throughout the day. Share your snow photos to the FOX 17 Facebook Page.
