After shopping all day on Black Friday, stop by the Grand Rapids Public Museum to see the premiere of the "Dark Beer, Dark Night" event.

The museum is teaming up with Brewery Vivant to host this special event. There will be a special presentation with Wandering Monk Ryan Engemann, who will be explaining the differences on various dark beers and how they are made. Brewery Vivant's latest dark beer, Tart Side of the Moon, will be featured in this presentation.

After the presentation visitors will have the chance to explore the museum, have a Q&A session with Engemann, and enjoy the museum's original planetarium production Dark Side: The Light Show while sipping on Brewery Vivant's dark beer.

Tickets to the presentation are sold out, but tickets are still available for the planetarium show at 8 p.m. Tickets for Dark Side: The Light Show cost $5 for non-members, and free for members, but you still need to reserve your tickets online.
