Police: Man struck by car, found lying on the side of the road in Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A man was seriously hurt after police say he was struck by a hit and run driver Friday evening.

It happened around 7:20 p.m. in the area of Jackson Street and 20th Street in Battle Creek.

Battle Creek Police say a 45-year-old male victim was found injured and lying on the side of the road. The man was taken to the hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.

Authorities say the investigation showed the man was hit by a vehicle, but the driver was gone and no description was given. If you have any information, call police at (269)-964-3888.
