HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Authorities believe they have found the bodies of a father and his adult son reported missing after going duck hunting in Lake St. Clair, northeast of Detroit.

The Macomb County sheriff’s office says the bodies were recovered Sunday in Canadian waters about four miles from Seaway Island. Their boat was located in the same area.

The sheriff’s office, Coast Guard and other agencies had been searching for two men — ages 59 and 24 — who left their Jackson County home early Saturday morning, but didn’t return that night. The missing men were identified as Timothy and Daniel Hughes.

Their pickup truck and boat trailer were found Sunday at the Lake St. Clair Metropark boat launch in Harrison Township.
