THREE RIVERS, Mich. — Police in Three Rivers say a 36-year-old woman was arrested for not only distributing counterfeit cash, but also for reportedly punching a police officer several times.
It happened on Tuesday when police learned a woman who was wanted for possibly passing counterfeit cash was at the South Main Street Shell gas station in Three Rivers.
The woman arrested and taken to the Three Rivers Police Department for booking. Around 20 minutes into the booking process, the female suspect became uncooperative and started started punching the officer, according to a press release from the Three Rivers Police Department. Police note the officer was punched at least 6 times, before the suspect was cuffed and taken to the St. Joseph County jail without bond.
