GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Bow hunting season begins Saturday, October 1 in Michigan and we are helping get you ready for it.
Bow season runs until November 14. Firearms deer season starts the next day, November 15, and runs two weeks. After that, bow season opens up again for the month of December.
Al & Bob's Sports is once again holding their Big Buck Photo Contest. Remember, they don't just judge on the size of the buck, but on the quality of the photograph. There will be a weekly winner in two categories: adult and youth. Weekly winners will get a $20 gift card to Al & Bob's Sports and the Grand Prize Winners get a shopping spree worth $200 and a hunting blind.
