EDMORE, Mich — A Saginaw father was arrested after police say he was busted for drunk driving near Edmore on Friday.
Around 4 p.m., police were notified of a possible drunk driver while deputies were in the area for the Montabella homecoming parade.
The 49-year-old man was pulled over on M-46 between Vesteburg and Edmore, according to a press release from the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office. The man was reportedly on the way to pick up his kids for the weekend.
Police say the man did not have a valid driver’s license and he was carrying a firearm. They also found an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
