GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - It's the moment craft beer fans around West Michigan have been waiting on for months. Tuesday, New Holland Brewing unveiled their new location on the city's west side, a brand new facility called 'The Knickerbocker.'

In the company of community leaders like Mayor Rosalynn Bliss, New Holland hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and soft open, offering some the chance to get a first glimpse at their new digs.

“I think this is really something that really sets the tone," said Rockford Construction CEO Mike VanGessel, a west side native himself. "It is a game changer – there’s no doubt.”

The facility features all the New Holland favorites behind the bar, with a heavier focus on their farm-fresh menu and world-class distillery. The Knickerbocker will allow guests to enjoy a whiskey bar, where they can sample their award-winning spirit - a piece of the New Holland brand that often gets overlooked.

“We wanted, in Grand Rapids, to have a unique space to really highlight what we do with spirits," said VP of Marketing Joel Patterson. "It’s something we’re so proud of and something that people aren’t as aware of."

“We’re just looking to add to what’s already in Grand Rapids," Patterson added. "Grand Rapids has a wonderful scene. A lot of people doing great beer and great spirits and great food. We just wanted to add to that, and it’s unique here in that all of those elements come together.”

The Knickerbocker is located at 417 Bridge NW in Grand Rapids, and will open to the public at 11:00am on Thursday, September 15th.
