TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two people were injured after a crash Tuesday at 8th Avenue and County Lane Drive.
The crash happened at about 2:15 p.m. when a 17-year-old Marne boy driving south on 8th Avenue turned left in front of a northbound vehicle, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department. The two vehicles collided “nearly head-on,” a release from the sheriff’s department says.
The driver of the northbound vehicle, a 67-year-old Standale man, was seriously injured. The teen was also hospitalized and is currently in stable condition, according to a release.
