Man, 33, charged in Algoma Township stabbing

KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A 33-year-old man has been charged with a weekend stabbing in Algoma Township

The Kent County Sheriff’s Department says 33-year-old Benjamin Rowe is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon in connection with the Sunday stabbing in the 1900 block of 17 Mile Road.

Officials say the victim was stabbed several times in the face and neck.  He is currently hospitalized in stable condition.

Rowe was arrested at a home in the area, according to a release.
