NORTON SHORES, Mich. — Movie money is popping up again. Somebody is trying to pass fake $100 and $20 bills as businesses in Norton Shores, and the city’s police department has sent out warning.

NPD said they received four reports of counterfeit $100 bills and one complaint of a fake $20 bill in their city, but the bogus bills have been reported all around the area.

Similar to recent reports, these fakes area printed with the words “For Motion Picture Use Only.”

Anyone who knows anything or any business where such bills appear are asked to call the Norton Shores Police Department at 231-733-2691 or anonymously report to Silent Observer at 231-72-CRIME.
