BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Officers arrested a man with several warrants early Sunday morning.
They responded to the call of a loud vehicle around 4:00 a.m. near the intersection of Walter St. and Hanover St.
When they made contact with the car, they noticed a gun in there. They tried to get a man out of the back of the car but he started resisting.
As he tried to break away, another gun fell from his pocket.
Police arrested him for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.
When they identified him, they found out the 30-year-old man had a 5-count felony warrant out for his arrest. That was for weapons offenses, attempted murder and armed robbery.
The suspect was taken to jail. Police took the guns for evidence.
