GREENVILLE, Mich. – The woman who hit and killed a four-year-old boy while driving in downtown Greenville will spend a year in jail.

Susan Rieckman, 70, was sentenced Thursday.  She also received a sentence of five years of probation and 150 hours of community service.

In September 2015, Rieckman was driving on a suspended license when she hit Talos Bills, 4, while turning left at the corner of Washington and Lafayette.  The boy died as a result of his injuries.
