Lowell gas station robbery suspect gets away with $20

LOWELL, Mich. — Police are asking for help in locating the person responsible for robbing the Admiral Gas Station, located at 2001 West Main Street around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The suspect asked for a single cigar and handed the clerk a $1. When the clerk opened register, the suspect reached over and grabbed cash out of the drawer, according to a press release from the Lowell Police Department.  He only managed to grab $20 before he got away.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid 20’s, standing around 6 foot tall and weighs between 180-200 lbs. Police noted he was wearing a fake black beard, tan hat, green plaid button down shirt, blue jeans and black boots.
