West Michigan – The updated Storm Predication Center outlook for severe weather in the area remains similar to earlier today. However, the Moderate Risk has now been shifted south of Grand Rapids and the best chance looks to be from I-94 south.

This is one of the better computer models for forecasting severe weather. The times are from 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to intensify for West Michigan during the evening hours with the best chance of severe thunderstorms after 7 p.m.
