OTSEGO, Mich. – A family in Otsego is concerned after a stranger lurking around windows gave them a scare.

It happened Saturday just after midnight and it was caught on camera. Otsego police are yet to identify the guy seen lurking around in the video, recorded by a families security camera they just installed a few weeks ago.

In the video, a stranger creeps toward a window, looks inside and stares before banging on the glass and running away.

“It kind of feels creepy that someone was looking through the window,” says Amanda Stevenson, a concerned mother who was at the house. “I don’t understand why he would do that.”

Amanda immediately called her husband.

“I remotely checked the cameras I have with my phone and there was a guy walking up to my windows,” Cameron Stevenson - Amanda's husband - said. “I was in shock. My heart sunk. It was really scary to see that.”

Cameron rushed home and called police. But whoever was banging on the window was gone.

The family has increased their security in case the prowler returns. They now have a dog and hope his bark will alert them if he ever comes back.
