and last updated

The first Sunday in June is National Cancer Survivors Day,  an annual treasured celebration of life that is held in hundreds of communities nationwide.

This day is a celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of support for families and an outreach to the community.

On June 8, the Spectrum Health Cancer Center will celebrate with others who are survivors, family members and friends.

The event will be at the Cancer Center from 1 to 5 p.m. There will be art, music, refreshments and treats.

If you have been diagnosed with cancer and would like a second opinion or consultation, call 1.855.SHCANCER.
