THREE RIVERS, Mich. — Three Rivers police were called Monday evening about a possible parole absconder in the area that was a threat of violence and would resist police if confronted. This soon became a job for Jake, the Three Rivers K9.
Investigators discovered the suspect on Constantine Road in Three Rivers. Officers approached and Jake made verbal (barking) contact with the suspect, who was inside of a vehicle.
Police ordered the man out of the vehicle and gave instructions for his surrender. With Jake by their side barking and ready to go, the suspect did as instructed.
The suspect was arrested and is now in jail for his parole violation.
