GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – If you are looking for a summer job in West Michigan, Grand Rapids isn’t a bad place to be.
WalletHub.com recently ranked the top 150 U.S. cities for the availability of summer employment. Grand Rapids came in 14th.
The rankings were based on two key statistics: the youth job-market outlook and social environment and affordability.
The top three cities in the rankings were Washington, D.C., Scottsdale, Arizona and San Francisco, California. The bottom three were Corpus Christi, Texas, Tallahassee, Florida and Columbus, Georgia. Detroit ranked #125.
