CLIMAX, Mich. — The Climax-Scotts Community Schools were placed under a two-hour delay Monday morning while law enforcement sought a suspect near the junior-senior high school.

A couple of cars were broken into around 4 a.m., and a gun was stolen from one of them.

Kalamazoo County deputies were able to arrest two people, so the lock down was lifted, but the school system was still on a two-hour delay for the day.

It is not clear if the suspects are students of the district, but police said they contacted the parents of one of the suspects.

The stolen gun has not been recovered.
