WEST MICHIGAN- This weekend will have a much more “March-like” feel to it as our temperatures will struggle to get out of the 40s during the afternoon!
In addition to the cooler temperatures, the winds will be howling out of the west and northwest throughout most of Saturday. We’ll see a lot of cloud cover and some light showers/drizzle throughout most of the day.
The weekend timeline looks more like one that we’d see in March. Rain arrives late in the evening on Friday, and the cloud cover sticks around Saturday, with intermittent showers. Because of that strong breeze, temps will feel like they’re in the low to mid 30s throughout most of the day.
In addition to the daytime highs being about 20 degrees below normal, overnight lows are slated to be much colder than we’d expect as well. This is a snapshot of projected temperatures early Sunday morning. While cloud coverage may depend on how low we get, many areas will see similar reading both Sunday and Monday mornings. You’ll want to take steps for sensitive vegetation as we head toward the weekend.
