‘Purple Rain’ showing next week at Celebration! Cinema Woodland

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Prince fans in West Michigan can celebrate the legendary musician during local screenings of the cult classic film Purple Rain.

Celebration! Cinema Woodland plans to show the film from April 24 to April 30.  The movie is showing daily at 2:30 p.m., 6:35 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.  Tickets are $5.

The Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA) is also screening the movie May 3 at 8 p.m.   Tickets are $4 for members and $8 for non-members.

Prince was found dead at his home in suburban Minneapolis Thursday morning.  The cause of his death has not been made official yet.
