GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A Border Collie with a lot of energy is visiting Grand Rapids to get new back legs.
Chloe was thrown from a car in Ohio two years ago. Her back legs were severely injured and eventually had to be amputated.
Chloe is staying with Dream Paws Rescue after traveling from Mishawaka, Indiana. Chloe's handicap doesn't hold her back, but a Grand Rapids company that specializes in animal prosthetics offered to help and the shelter is taking them up on that.
Midwest Border Collie Rescue and Dream Paws Rescue are looking for donations to help with the expenses of getting Chloe her new legs. Once Chloe has her new legs, she'll be put up for adoption through Midwest Border Collie Rescue.
