NORTON SHORES, Mich. – Norton Shores Police are looking for the person or persons who stole eight guns from a store over the weekend.
Police were called to Shoreline Shooters in the 3100 block of Fairfield early Saturday morning. Police say they responded to the store at about 3:48am when the store alarm went off and they found no evidence of a break-in. Officers were called back to the shop by the owner at 7:20am, when he discovered the break-in. Investigators say the alarm did go off again about 4:30am, but neither the owner or police were aware that the alarm had again sounded.
Police say the suspects took five long guns, three pistols and ammunition. They also say that two suspects were arrested Friday for also attempting to break into Shoreline Shooters. One of those suspects is still lodged at the Muskegon County Jail and the other is at the Muskegon County youth home.
Anyone with information should call the Norton Shores Police Department at 231-733-2691 or Silent Observer at 231-72-CRIME.
