BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Police are investigating after they said a man was shot outside of a large party Saturday night.
Police responded to the shooting at 158 Cliff Street where a party was happening. They said roughly 100 people were inside and outside the home when officers arrived.
The victim was taken to the hospital before officers got to the scene. He was not able to give a name or description of the person who shot him.
Officers said they interviewed the host of the party, and the home was cleared to make sure there no one else was hurt.
Police say they found three loaded semi-automatic handguns in a bedroom inside the home..
The guns will be processed by the Battle Creek Police Department lab.
Anyone with information about the shooting or the people that discarded the handguns should call 911 or Silent Observer.
