GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – It’s spring time in West Michigan and Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park are literally blooming with new exhibits to put you in the mood.
On April 30th the popular Butterflies are Blooming exhibit will open to the public. Later in the summer, you can look forward to the ‘Mimmo Paladino: Present into Past’ exhibit on August 14th, as well as their other permanent exhibits. Joe Becherer, the parks’ Chief Curator and Vice President for Collections and Exhibitions for nearly 20 years joins the FOX 17 Weekend Morning crew to talk about all the exciting new developments.
The Fredrik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is located at 1000 East Beltline Avenue in Grand Rapids and is open Sunday 11-5, Tuesday 9-9 and all other days from 9-5.
