CONKLIN, Mich. -- The 'World's Shortest Parade' lives another year. The old Fenians Irish Pub in Conklin was purchased this past year and transformed into the Conklin Bar.
Since it was under new management, there was a lot of speculation that the traditional parade wouldn't live to see another year.
However, this proved to not be the case. The 'World's Shortest Parade' kicked off at 10:55am on Thursday morning right outside the bar... and lived up to its name, only lasting about six minutes.
Afterwards people piled into the Conklin Bar for drinks, specialty Irish dishes, and live Irish music. The bar manager, Monika Schneder says her dad bought the bar about a year ago and they just couldn't let such a great tradition slip through the cracks.
