GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids police are investigating a shooting outside a Family Fare supermarket early Tuesday evening.
Police responded to a report of two men shooting at each other in the parking lot of the Family Fare at 1415 East Fulton. Their investigation showed that three men met there to conduct a legal transaction when one of the men pulled a gun and shot at the other two. One of the two men being shot at returned fire at the suspect, who then ran away.
Several shots were fired during the exchange. GRPD says that no one was hurt in the gunfire.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male in his early 20s with hair on his chin standing between 5’6″ and 6′ tall and weighing 185-190 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black and white jacket and bleached jeans.
