MANISTEE, Mich. – A 65-year-old man has been charged with numerous counts of possessing child pornography and sexual exploitation of a child after allegedly taking lewd pictures of girls over a four year period.
William Schock was arrested last September after a seven-year-old girl told her father that Schock “photographed her naked in exchange for chocolate,” according to the federal criminal complaint. Investigators found four DVDs filled with child porn, including pictures of two prepubescent kids posing naked in Schock’s home in Manistee.
The state charged Schock in Septempber with 32 counts. That case is pending in Manistee County. If convicted of the federal charges, Schock faces up to 30 years in prison.
