GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Michigan Presidential Primary is less than a month away and candidates are setting up shop in Grand Rapids.
Democratic candidate Senator Bernie Sanders is opening his Grand Rapids office Friday afternoon at 5:00pm. His office will be at 3446 Plainfield Ave. NE. The grand opening will include musical groups Lookout Lincoln, Ars Nova and Sylock.
Sanders is also opening an office in Ann Arbor Friday afternoon.
His Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, will be opening her Grand Rapids office on Sunday at 3 p.m. Her office will be at 2922 Fuller NE and will be opened by Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence and Grand Rapids State Board of Education Member Lupe Ramos-Montigny.
Michigan’s presidential primary is March 8.
