BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — A video shot by a Big Rapids woman of her husband who is dealing with Alzheimer’s disease is going viral.
Mary Beth Beamer posted the video on her and her husband Alan’s Facebook page on January 3. The video is an plea from Alan to his family and friends to come visit and chat with him and not to be afraid of his condition.
As of Friday morning, the video has over 850,000 views and 16,000 shares. The story has been picked up by media outlets, including the Daily Mail in London. The family also has a GoFundMe page.
