BETHEL TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Two people have been charged in a Criminal Sexual Conduct case that spans from 2006 to 2009.

The incidents happened in Bethel Township of Branch County.  The female victim is now 22 and living in Mishawaka, Indiana, according to Michigan State Police investigators.

David Paul Green, 44, of Coldwater, turned himself in to police Wednesday.  He is being charged with four counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct, 3rd degree. Police say the victim claims between 2006 and 2009 that she and Green had sexual intercourse over 50 times and that he had taken nude photographs of her.

The victim also told police that a neighbor, Gene Matthew Keith, 69, of Coldwater also took nude photos of her when she was 13 years old in exchange for money.  He has been charged with four counts of Child Sexually Abusive Activity and being a Habitual Offender.  Keith was a registered sex offender.

Both Green and Keith are being held at the Branch County Jail.

A warrant has also been issued for the victim’s mother who allegedly tried to extort Green for $5,000 to not report the sexual assaults to police.
