200+ gather at Degage for Christmas morning breakfast

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Over 200 people came out to enjoy an annual Christmas morning breakfast at Degage Ministries Friday.

In an effort to help the homeless population of the Hearside-area of the city, Degage has been organizing the annual breakfast, making it available to anyone who has nowhere else to go this holiday season. This is the fourth year that they have put on the event.

Breakfast and games of Bingo were enjoyed by over 200 people Friday morning.

Degage said it had the help of 20 volunteers to make the breakfast happen this year.  All of them giving their time to make sure others had a warm meal and loving company.

Degage Ministries is located at 144 South Division Avenue in downtown Grand Rapids.
