GRAND RAPIDS, Mich -- In the annual battle of I-96 Holiday Classic at Ottawa Hills High School, the East and West split four high school basketball match ups on Saturday.
Muskegon Heights (2-0) beat Southfield in the opener, 76-70. Grand Rapids Union (2-0) topped Detroit Southeastern, 56-44, thanks to a big fourth quarter.
Lowell (3-1) lost to last season's class B state runner-up Detroit Henry Ford, 72-66. Ypsilanti beat host Ottawa Hills (1-1) in the nightcap, 57-53.
