GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A popular local coffee roaster is planning on opening its second cafe in downtown Grand Rapids.

Madcap Coffee announced they'll opening a new cafe attached to the Fulton Street roastery at 1041 E. Fulton Street. Their other cafe is at 98 Monroe Center NW.

The new location is in the Fulton Heights neighborhood in a 1930s building that used to be an auto repair shop.  The company says they have been inspired by the local craft bar scene and the new shop will feature bar seating for ordering drinks and quick bites to eat.  The new cafe will be open in the spring of 2016.

Madcap partners with cafes, restaurants, churches, and private businesses to offer coffee.  The company's website says they have over 60 partners from Seattle to New York.
