GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – For those who have recovered from the heartbreak of the Detroit Lions from Thursday night, we have some confusing news for your Sunday NFL viewing.
Our own FOX17Online.com schedule is actually wrong this week and 506Sports.com made the change Friday afternoon to their maps. FOX Network made some late changes messing everything up.
FOX 17 will be showing the San Francisco 49ers playing the Chicago Bears at 1:00pm. Most guides show us presenting the Seattle Seahawks playing at Minnesota. The FOX Network in New York confirmed for us this week that we’ll be getting the Bears game, despite what earlier sources said. We’ve contacted 506sports.com letting them know.
There isn’t a switch or a button that our master control operators push to choose which game we show. Only one comes in, so only one goes out.
At 4:00pm, FOX does have the doubleheader this week, and we will be getting the national telecast of the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints, with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.
The CBS 1:00pm game for our area will be the New York Jets and the New York Giants.
