GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Creston Neighborhood of Grand Rapids is set to get its first brewery next spring.
Construction is beginning this month on Creston Brewery, which will be at 1504 Plainfield Avenue NE, in the former DeKorne Furniture Showroom.
The partners in the venture are planning a 20 BBL microbrewery, taproom, restaurant and entertainment venue in the nearly 100 year old building.
“Creston is the largest neighborhood in Grand Rapids and its demographics reflect this beautiful city we all share,” said Vincent Lambert, a South Carolinian turned Grand Rapidian, in a press release. “The neighborhood is economically, socially, and culturally diverse and that’s why we were driven to start our brewery here.”
