Holland woman seriously injured in crash

OLIVE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 24-year-old Holland woman was seriously injured Thursday after a crash on Port Sheldon Street near 128th Avenue, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials say the woman’s was driving west when her vehicle entered the ditch near 128th Avenue and rolled several times.    She was trapped in the vehicle and had to be removed by emergency responders.  She was then flown to the hospital by Aero Med and is in serious condition.

Crews were called to the scene just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

No other injuries were reported.  The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
