GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two local entrepreneurs ventured the streets of downtown Grand Rapids Sunday to pay it forward to those in need.

Kenny Lenzi and his brother Tyler spent the afternoon walking Division Avenue to hand out free hats to people who didn't have one.

The policy of their business, Skroove, is to give back to the community. For every five pieces of clothing they sell, one is donated back to the community.

Skroove has been up and running for over two years.

"It means a lot to people that you're taking time out of your day to give  them something that you created," Kenny said. "That has purpose and value to them. It`s a very eye opening and cool experience."

"We were raised by great parents. They always taught us it feels good to give back and that`s what were doing here. It`s a great feeling," said Tyler.

20 hats were handed out while the duo walked Division Avenue on Sunday.
