Suspect in Branch County armed robbery sought

BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Michigan State Police are looking for help in finding the person responsible for an armed robbery in Branch County.

The robbery happened on November 13 at A.J.’s Butler General Store on Clarendon Road. The suspect is described as a white male, in his late teens or early 20s, 5’8″ to 6’0″ tall, skinny, with a red bandana over his face, and dark hair.

The suspect held a knife during the robbery and got away with a few hundred dollars in cash.  Above is a sketch from Michigan State Police based on the description.
