WPBN/WGTU — A Michigan family is mourning the loss of their beloved horse after it was reportedly shot and later died.

According to WPBN/WGTU, it happened in Gaylord near the roadside of a pasture this week.

The horse, Money, belonged to Liz Koscielniack and her daughter and participated in statewide competitions.

“I do think that maybe she was poached because she was in the pasture closest to the road,” said Koscienlniak.

The family has offered a $500 cash reward.
