CASS COUNTY, Mich. – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is warning people and businesses along the I-94 and I-96 corridors to watch out for counterfeit bills.
Sheriff Joseph Underwood, Jr. says that St. Joseph County, Van Buren County and Kalamazoo County have all had victims of people using counterfeit $20s, $50s and $100s. More agencies along I-94 all the way to Oakland County have also reported seeing counterfeit bills.
Anyone who thinks they may have a counterfeit bill in their possession should contact their local law enforcement agency.
