HOUSTON — A wife kicked her husband out of the house, but he’s not going far.

Sharafat Khan has been living outside his million dollar home in Houston for the past six months.

His fragile appearance shows he’s barely getting by, according to KPRC.

That has neighbors concerned.

“He’s wearing the same clothing, it’s dirty, he has no bathroom facilities, no shoes,” said Debbie Scoggins.

“He’s very frail.  He can’t even walk,” said Laurel Stout.

Khan says his 32-year marriage first started falling apart six years ago.

He says his wife kicked him out, took his keys, and won’t let him in.

She now has signs on the home that tell people not to feed him:  “Kindly, do not bring anything on this property.  No food or drinks also.  Getting infested with maggots.  If you want to feed him, take him to your house.  If you want to, you can keep him at your house.  Thanks for your sympathy.  But please do not bring anything on this property. Your picture is being recorded.”

Khan says he’s not leaving because half of the house, and everything inside, is his. He says his wife won’t file for divorce because she doesn’t want to give up half her fortune.
