GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Authorities are trying to find the person responsible for pointing a laser at a plane landing at Gerald R. Ford International Airport on Tuesday morning.
According to airport spokesperson, Tara Hernandez, someone pointed a laser into the cockpit of a non-commercial flight while it was in the process of landing.
Airport authorities and the Kent County Sheriff’s Office attempted to locate a suspect, but had no luck. The laser pointer had no impact on the plane’s landing.
