GEORGETOWN TWP., Mich. – The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a suspicious situation that happened Friday morning.
Deputies say that an 18-year-old girl reported that she had just sat down in her vehicle at about 7:30am when a white male started to approach her. He was wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt, black sweat pants and rubber gloves. The girl said he was about to make contact with her when a family member came out of their home. The man then ran away.
Deputies brought in a K-9 unit but were unable to track down a suspect.
