GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Kent County has received three bids for its building at 82 Ionia NW.

The building currently houses Friend of the Court, Circuit Court Probation, the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office and Community Housing and Development.  However, the building is only 65% occupied.  After a Space Needs Study earlier this year, the county announced the building was for sale.

According to county records, the three proposals came from Ferris State Unversity, Kendall College Art and Design, Franklin Partners LLC, and The Embassy Group Acquisitions LLC.  The details of the proposals were not disclosed.

The Kent County Board of Commissioners will make the final decision on whether or not to sell the building this fall.

The county bought the building in 2005.  It was built in 1932.
