GRANDVILLE, Mich --

Grandville is looking for another successful high school football season in year two under coach Eric Stiegel.  It was a successful first season as coach of the Bulldogs for Stiegel after leading the team back to the playoffs for the first time in eight years.  The Bulldogs looking for even more success this season as they've grown more accustomed to Stiegels fun first offense.

"I think the new system is really clicking in for everybody," said senior running back Nolan Meekhof.    "Learning a new offense is difficult for everybody, so having this developed system and running the same thing as last year is really helpful in getting farther in the process."

"It is nice that we know the kids," added Stiegel.  "I know our coaching staff is pretty much all intact from last year, so we have that cohesiveness, but we don't want to be comfortable.  We don't want to make it feel like it's any easier or anything, because with the teams we're going to play we have to make sure we're geared up every practice."
